Where It Starts
Romeo B was born in New York and grew up surrounded by its mix of cultures and sounds. Singing began early, from choir to a cappella, and became a way to connect with people far beyond his hometown.
Travel changed the direction of his music. In Rio de Janeiro, Romeo found a freedom and sense of belonging that stayed with him. Brazil became more than an influence: it gave him a new way to express who he already was.
Today, he sings in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, bringing R&B, funk, pop, house, and Brazilian rhythms into a sound shaped by the places and people he has encountered.
